The famous momager reportedly wants to fill the empty seat next to Kathie Lee Gifford in the fourth hour of the long-running NBC morning show.

AceShowbiz - Kris Jenner seemingly is ready to greet America every morning. Rumor has it, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star will be filling up an open seat left by Hoda Kotb in the fourth hour of the long-running NBC morning show, "Today".

An NBC insider reveals to In Touch (via HollywoodLife.com) that the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch is "campaigning hard" for the gig. Much to Kris' excitement, Hoda's former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford reportedly thinks that "they'd make a great team and got Kris a meeting with the top brass."

The insider continues saying, "Kris is promising big ratings."

Kris being Kathie Lee's partner may not be a really bad idea, though. The two may perform a great chemistry in front of camera since they have been friends for several decades. It is said that Kris and Caitlyn Jenner once went on an exotic vacation with Kathie Lee and her late husband, Frank Gifford.

Kris previously guested in a 2013 episode of "Today", where Kathie Lee said that they had been through "hell and high water" together. Kris later sweetly praised Kathie Lee, dubbing her "a great force and inspiration in my life."

Khloe Kardashian also once pointed out that her mother and Kathie Lee had a great bond together. "Drinking wine at 6 A.M. is my jam, but I think it is really more Kris' jam at the moment…," the youngest Kardashian sister told Entertainment Tonight. "Kathie Lee and my mom are best friends. Those two together and drunk in the morning would be epic!"

However, joining "Today" may create a new problem for Kris and her E!'s reality show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", as it means that the famous momager will be relocating to New York or getting back and forth between Los Angeles and New York, which is not a better idea either.
