Rejoice, Hyun Bin fans! The actor is now back on the market. The 35-year-old South Korean heartthrob has broken up with Kang Sora after approximately a year of dating. Both stars' agencies have confirmed it soon after the news broke.

Hyun Bin's agency VAST Entertainment said in a statement on Friday, December 8, "We have confirmed that Hyun Bin and Kang Sora recently broke up after drifting apart due to their busy schedules. They ended the relationship on good terms and will continue to support each other as fellow actors."

Kang Sora's agency Plum Actors similarly said, "We have checked with Kang Sora and she has confirmed that she and Hyun Bin ended their relationship recently."

The report which circulated earlier said that the "Secret Garden" actor and the "Misaeng" actress had told those around them that they're no longer an item. "The two are very reserved and don't talk much so they didn't really bring each other up in public events but all of their friends knew that they’ve already broken up," a so-called friend said of the exes.

Hyun Bin and Kang Sora met in October 2016 and confirmed their relationship two months later.

Hyun Bin was last seen in heist film "The Swindlers" which was released in November in South Korea. He was previously dating Song Hye Kyo, who is now married to Song Joong Ki, after they starred on 2008's drama series "Worlds Within". They broke up in early 2011.

As for Kang Sora, she gained recognition after starring in 2011's blockbuster film "Sunny" and on 2014's medical drama series "Doctor Stranger". The 27-year-old beauty recently starred on "Revolution" alongside Choi Si Won and Gong Myung. The romantic comedy series which aired on tnN, however, received lukewarm response due to a controversy involving Si Won's family dog.
