EXO's first full-length Japanese album "Countdown" is coming to stores soon. Hyping up the fans, the Korean act released a short version of music video for lead track "Electric Kiss" on December 5. The clip finds the members taking on a strong and fierce concept.

The two-and-a-half-minute clip begins with showing the title of the track along with a cryptic background. The scene then changes to show the eight members, excluding Lay who is currently pursuing solo activities in China, being put in different settings. While Suho is seen being trapped in a glass tank, Chen is seen roaming around an empty building.

Towards the end of the clip, the members, who sport black tracksuits, gather at a dark room. The boys then start dancing and singing to the thumping beats while staring down the camera. The visuals ends with the group posing at a mysterious setting as Baekhyun's laughter can be heard in the background.

"Countdown" is set to be released on January 24. The album features 10 tracks, four of which are brand new songs while the rest are Japanese version of their previous songs such as "Love Me Right" and "Lightsaber". Moreover, it includes bonus features like behind-the-scenes footage.

Prior to this, the Korean boyband was honored with the Album of the Year Award for their latest Korean effort "The War" at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards, which was held on Friday, December 1 in Hongkong. During their acceptance speech, Suho expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped the group take the award for the fifth time in a row.

"We have been able to receive such a big award at MAMA for the fifth time in a row this year," he said, thanking all the staff who always supports them. "But I believe it's because we have our EXO-Ls that we are able to see such result. We will become [a group] who does not bring shame to this award."
