AceShowbiz - Ahead of the release of Linkin Park's live album "One More Light Live", the band has unveiled a live rendition clip of one of the band's hit songs, "Crawling". The clip features an emotional vocal performance from late frontman Chester Bennington.
The black-and-white visuals finds the band's vocalist standing in the middle of the crowd as he sings the "Hybrid Theory" hit emotionally. Chester is also seen grasping outstretched hands of the fans as they sing along with Chester, cheering loudly when he hugs a female fan who is standing near him.
"One More Light Live" is due out on December 15 via Warner Bros Records. It features the songs that the late Chester performed during his last concert with the band in support of Linkin Park's 2017 album "One More Light". The band previously shared the reason why this album means so much to them.
"We dedicated this live album to our brother Chester who poured his heart and soul into 'One More Light'," they said. "The song we played together during the early summer of 2017 were extraordinary. Chester shared with us that he felt this was the best tour we had ever done. The camaraderie and the joy we experienced on stage reflected our deep connection with each other, with our fans and with the music."
Chester died of an apparent suicide by hanging on Thursday, July 20. Moments after the shocking news broke, many fellow musicians took to social media to express their condolences, including fellow bandmate Mike Shinoda. "Shocking and heartbroken, but it's true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one," he tweeted.
The "Heavy" singer was laid to rest on Saturday, July 29 in a private funeral service at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes, California. Over 200 of his family, bandmates and close friends attended the funeral.
