AceShowbiz - Now that Matt Lauer has been fired over allegations of "inappropriate sexual behavior," NBC's "Today" is looking for a replacement. Rumors recently swirled saying that Megyn Kelly would likely fill Lauer's position on the morning show, but a source claims "Today" is considering someone else to take over for the 59-year-old newsman.
A source notes that the reason why NBC doesn't want Megyn to head to "Today" is because "the network likes Megyn in her current role." The source adds that "the rumor around the 'Today' show offices is that Willie Geist could be the one to replace Matt."
Geist previously filled in for Lauer on "Today". The 42-year-old TV personality is currently hosting his own weekend show, "Sunday Today".
Another source reveals that "it's been a rough week for everyone" following Lauer's firing after he was hit with multiple sexual harassment allegations, one of which suggested that the married man invited female employees to his hotel room late at night during the time he covered the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in 2014. "It is really clear that we need to change the way we do our day-to-day work and figure out our priorities," the source continues.
Meanwhile, yet another old video of Lauer making lewd comments to a female star resurfaces online. The video, which was taken from a 2009 interview of "Today", featured Lauer joking about seeing Sandra Bullock naked.
Lauer told Bullock, who appeared on the show to promote her movie "The Proposal", "The major thing that's changed since I've seen you last: I have seen you naked." Responding to the host's remark, Bullock laughed and said, "And I'm so sorry about that. Were you able to sleep afterwards?"
When Bullock caught Lauer staring down, she asked, "Why are you looking down?" Lauer insisted that he "was looking at my notes," though Bullock was not convinced.
Not stopping there, Lauer, who said that he set the nude image of Bullock as his computer's screensaver, continued saying, "You're naked for most of this movie!" to which "The Blind Side" actress disagreed, "No I'm not! I'm emotionally naked most of this movie."
Before wrapping up the interview, Lauer asked the actress, "Did I mention you have a nude scene in this movie?" Bullock shot back, "Pretty much from the time you opened your mouth."
