Em's longtime collaborator, Dr. Dre, takes to social media to announce that the highly-anticipated album will be released on December 15.

Fans who have anticipated Eminem's new album can finally rejoice. His highly-anticipated album "Revival" finally gets a release date. The executive producer of the album as well as Em's longtime collaborator, Dr. Dre, took to social media on November 28 to share the good news by sharing a clip.
In the clip, an actor by the name of Trevor is seen parodying a pharmaceutical advertisement, announcing that he has great news for everyone who is suffering from Atrox Rithimus. "You've spent the past weeks hearing about 'Revival' and how you can treat moderate to severe Atrox Rithimus. Well, today I have great news for all of you suffering from AR."
Trevor then reveals that "Revival" is not a medication, but it is the title of Em's new album. "It's coming out December 15," he continues, announcing the release date of the album. "On behalf of everyone who took part at 'Revival' campaign, thank you." Trevor ends the video by joking that fans should not ask questions about the album when they run into him.
The Detroit rapper had been teasing about the said album since October, when his manager Paul Rosenberg posted a picture of him holding a copy of Yelawolf's album with a giant advertisement for a drug called "Revival" in the background. Fans started getting suspicious as the advertisement featured Em's signature backwards "E". Since then, they have been anticipating the rapper's new album.
On November 10, Em released the lead track off the album entitled "Walk on Water" featuring Beyonce Knowles. The song arrived at No. 14 on Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking the highest debut on that week's Hot 100. Em first performed the song at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards along with his another longtime collaborator Skylar Grey. They also performed the song in November 18 episode of "Saturday Night Live".
