Pentatonix kicks off the holiday season by holding a show called "A Very Pentatonix Christmas", which will be aired on NBC on November 27. Hyping the fans up, the a cappella group has released a sneak peek of their performance of "How Great Thou Art", which features Jennifer Hudson.

Clad in a black dress, Hudson opens the performance by singing the first verse of the song before member Scott Hoying joins her, flawlessly combining their voices together. Other members can be seen harmonizing. The audience seems to be enjoying their performance so much that they give the group a standing ovation at the end of the performance.

"How Great Thou Art" is one of the tracks off Pentatonix's Christmas album "A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe", which was released on October 20. The 16-track effort also includes other holiday classics including "White Christmas" featuring The Manhattan Transfer, "I'll be Home for Christmas" and "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!".

Speaking to Parade, member Kevin Olusula revealed that the group only chose songs that they could arrange for the album. "We listen to songs we're inspired by," he shared. "If anyone has an idea of how to arrange it and we like it we go with it. It's not that we listen to a certain decade or style but it's more that we go with whatever inspires us."

Kevin also mentioned their Christmas special show, remarking that people could expect great performances. "People can expect great performances, skits and special guest like Jennifer, which should be really fun," he continued. "It's really family-friendly fun. People can gather around the TV and watch us do what we do best."

The five-piece group is scheduled to hit the road in support of the album. The tour will kick off on December 3 in Chicago and wrap up on December 21 in New York City.
