AceShowbiz - %cShakira% has a bad news for fans who are waiting for her recovery. Instead of announcing the rescheduled dates for her "El Dorado" tour, she has announced on Instagram that she had to postpone her European tour dates until next year due to vocal hemorrhage.

In the lengthy post, which was written in both English and Spanish, the 40-year-old songstress revealed that her vocal cords were in perfect condition in July. However, she started feeling that there was something strange with it after she found out that her voice had turned hoarse.

"At the end of July I went for a routine checkup, before starting to design this tour and my doctor confirmed that my vocal cords were in perfect condition," she wrote. "Towards the end of October though, in the home stretch of my rehearsals, I felt a strange hoarseness that impeded my singing. The doctors, upon examination, detected that I had suffered a hemorrhage on my right vocal cord."

"I then went on vocal rest as recommended by the specialist in an attempt to recover in time for my first show in Cologne," she further explained. "Unfortunately, the hemorrhage doesn't appear to have reabsorbed and my nightmare continues. At the moment I find myself in a difficult battle as I try to fully recover."
