After so much teasing on social media, Kailyn Lowry's ex Javi Marroquin finally confirmed that he's dating his "Teen Mom 2" co-star Briana DeJesus. 24-year-old Javi told PEOPLE that he "decided to make it official" during a reunion taping for the MTV show in Los Angeles.
"We are dating," Javi opened up. "We've been friends for a while and we weren't in a rush."
In addition, Javi appeared to make his relationship with the mother of two Instagram official. The reality star recently posted a photo of him and Briana, and even referred to her as his "bae." The new couple looked happy and inseparable as they were both sporting big smiles in the photo.
Briana looked pretty in a maroon bodysuit dress, which flaunted her ample cleavage. She paired the look with a matching leather jacket and a pair of pale pink heels. Meanwhile, standing beside her was Javi in black-and-white T-shirt and light blue jeans. "I have a 6 pack from laughing so hard these last couple of days #IMY #SCORPION #BAE #CHICKENFINGERS&BBQ #GAPING #BOUJEE #YOUCHANGEDINLA #PLAYTHATCARDIIIIB," Javi wrote in the caption.
The Air Force member also gushed over his relationship with Briana in an interview with Radar Online. "It's amazing with Bri and me," he revealed.
Despite seeing each other over the past few months, he told the site that he and Briana were taking their romance slow. "We talked about that and we said there is no rush. Long distance is already hard enough as it is. If we want to keep this friendship and get closer and get to know each other, there is no rush," the father of one shared.
Javi previously married fellow "Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn, with whom he shares 3-year-old son Lincoln. Meanwhile, Briana has two daughters, 6-year-old Nova and 3-month-old Stella, from her previous relationships. The 23-year-old reality TV star shares Nova with ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin, while she shares Stella with ex-boyfriend Luis Hernandez.
