Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's character in "Skyscraper" apparently will have an intense confrontation with cops. In a series of set photos that surfaced online, the wrestler-turned-actor, dressed as his character, could be seen trying to break free from police who tried to detain him.

The photos were taken from the Vancouver, Canada, set on Thursday, October 19. The 45-year-old muscled actor appeared to shoot a scene where cops caught up with his character. Sporting some bruises, he threw his hands in the air, with his left one being bandaged up.

While he initially appeared to raise his hands in surrender and submit to the police, in the blink of an eye he broke free. But he froze when he seemingly knew that one of the cops was pointing a gun at him. He turned around, with one officer without a gun starting to arrest him.

He continued struggling to flee the cops as he was seen pushing the arresting officer into the gun-toting one, before finally dashing off. He then pushed aside two men who appeared to be blocking his way as well.

"Skyscraper" is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the filmmaker behind "We're the Millers", from a script he wrote. The project logline is being kept under wraps but has been described as an adventure thriller that takes place in a mega-skyscraper set in China.

In addition to writing and directing, Thurber, alongside its star Johnson, serves as producer with Beau Flynn. The action thriller is scheduled to open on July 13, 2018 in theaters across the nation by Universal Pictures.

Starring alongside Johnson in the upcoming flick are Neve Campbell, Pablo Schreiber, Chin Han, Byron Mann, Hannah Quinlivan, Noah Taylor and Roland Moller among others. Additionally, UFC veteran-turned-actor/stuntman Jason William Day appears to join the cast in a villainous role, as he was previously seen filming a fighting scene with Johnson.
