Amber Rose is not going to marry 21 Savage anytime soon. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant has responded to rumors that she's engaged to her rapper beau after she shared on social media a photo of a huge diamond ring.
Amber set the record straight when she took the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday, October 1 for her third annual SlutWalk, which helps raise awareness of gender inequality. Denying she's engaged to her rapper beau, the 33-year-old former erotic dancer told Us Weekly, "I am not engaged ... Not yet."
Rumors of Amber taking her romance with Savage to the next level began swirling on Sunday morning when she admired a fan's nail art on her Instagram Stories. The fan's massive ring snuck into the pic, leading people to believe it was hers.
Though they're not engaged yet, Savage attended Amber's annual SlutWalk to support her. Gushing about her beau's respect for her and all women, the mother of one told the publication, "He loves everything that I do."
Having been a target of slut-shaming throughout her career, Amber held the weekend-long festival as a way to celebrate women. "I think as females, in general, we get treated unfairly," she said. "I've experienced it firsthand, I still do."
"But I'm willing to take the punches for women," continued Amber, who kicked off the fest while channeling a sexy superhero with her costume. "I'm willing to be here in a superhero Captain Save-A-Ho outfit to be controversial and bring awareness to really what's going on."
Amber started dating Savage in June this year. She once dated rapper Kanye West from 2008 to 2010. She began dating another rapper, Wiz Khalifa, in early 2011. After getting engaged in March 2012, they tied the knot the next year in July.
Amber and Wiz welcomed their son Sebastian on February 21, 2013. She filed for divorce from the "See You Again" hitmaker in September 2014, citing irreconcilable differences and planning to take full custody of their only child. They reached a joint custody agreement of their son in 2015.
