Sienna Miller sparked engagement rumors after she was recently spotted sporting a huge diamond ring on her left hand. Looking as stylish as always in a pajamas-style outfit and a pair of platform trainers, the 35-year-old actress was seen exiting the Apollo Theatre after her performance in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" while wearing the sparking band, prompting speculation that her director boyfriend Bennett Miller had popped the question.
However, it looked like Sienna wouldn't walk down the aisle soon as the ring turned out to be a prop which she forgot to take off. "Sienna was in a rush to go to dinner following her performance last night and forgot to take off the engagement ring she wears in the show--her prop ring," a source told Daily Mail.
"She's obviously laughing about it now but she's always so careful to make sure the fake dazzler is torn off the minute she comes off stage. But in her rush to get out for dinner she forgot to take the ring off," the source added, before noting, "There's no engagement--just a silly mistake she won't be making again!"
Sienna has been dating Bennett for more than a year. The pair first met on the set of "Foxcatcher" back in 2014. Although they are definitely still together, the actress and the 50-year-old director keep their romance private. They were last seen in public at the U.S. Open last year.
Sienna was previously engaged to Jude Law before splitting in 2005. She has also dated Daniel Craig, Rhys Ifans and Balthazar Getty. In 2012, she was engaged to Tom Sturridge, with whom she shares daughter Marlowe. The couple split two years ago, but remains friendly to each other.
"We're often together at weekends, and he's there now with his mum and her [Marlowe] in my place," she previously shared. "It's all frustratingly amicable from an outsider's point of view, but really blissful to be in." She added, "You can't change who you are. I'll always be the same person. I just grew up a little bit, got pregnant and had a kid."
