The Facebook CEO takes to the social media to announce that his wife has given birth to the baby girl and share a sweet new family photo.

AceShowbiz - Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have welcomed a new addition to their growing family. The Facebook CEO has taken to the social media to announce that his wife has given birth to their second child, a baby girl whom they named August.
Mark makes the announcement along with a sweet new family photo featuring him, his wife, first daughter Max, who is 20 months old, and August. The 33-year-old tech mogul accompanies the post with a heartfelt letter to his newborn daughter.
"Priscilla and I are so happy to welcome our daughter August!" he begins. He goes on to say that he and his wife "wrote her a letter about the world we hope she grows up in, and also hoping she doesn't grow up too fast," adding, "Your mom and I are so excited to see who you will become."
Mark says he wants to "talk about childhood," writing, "The world can be a serious place. That's why it's important to make time to go outside and play." He continues, "You will be busy when you're older, so I hope you take time to smell all the flowers and put all the leaves you want in your bucket now."
He tells his newborn baby, "I hope you read your favorite Dr. Seuss books so many times you start inventing your own stories about the Vipper of Vipp. I hope you ride the carousel with Max until you've tamed every color horse," adding, "I hope you're a great sleeper."
"Childhood is magical," Mark tells August, "You only get to be a child once, so don't spend it worrying too much about the future. You've got us for that, and we'll do everything we possibly can to make sure the world is a better place for you and all children in your generation."
He concludes, "August, we love you so much and we're so excited to go on this adventure with you. We wish you a life of joy, love and the same hope you give us."
Mark announced he and his pediatrician wife were expecting "another baby girl" in early March. The couple previously revealed that they had been trying to conceive for a couple of years and Priscilla had experienced three miscarriages before finally becoming pregnant with Max.
Mark said in his post, "When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy." He continued, "My next hope was that it would be a girl," adding, "I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I'm so happy Max and our new child will have each other."
