"ADELE has been trying to have another baby for a while. This wouldn't be a big surprise," a friend tells Naughty Gossip, "After the tour she said she wanted to retire for a while and get away from music and focus on her family. She keeps secrets and if she is pregnant she will not tell everyone until she wants to."
Adele had to pull out of the final shows of her tour because she temporarily damaged her vocal cords. "I don't know how to start this. The last two nights at Wembley have been the biggest and best shows of my life," she wrote on Twitter, "To come home to such a response after so long away doing something I never thought I could pull off but did has blown me away. However I've struggled vocally both night. I had to push a lot harder than I normally do. I felt like I constantly had to clear my throat, especially last night."
The "Hello" hitmaker continued, "I went to see my throat doctor this evening because my voice didn't open up at all today and it turns out I have damaged my vocal cords. And on medical advice I simply am unable to perform over the weekend. To say I'm heartbroken would be a complete understatement."
Adele apologized to fans and promised refunds. "I'm writing this as the decision has just this moment been made, so I don't have any other, but of course refunds will be available if the shows can't be rescheduled. There will be more information over the next few days. I'm sorry, I'm devastated," she tweeted.
According to OK!, Adele and her hubby Simon "have been trying for a second child since she finished the tour" back in November 2016. "And it seems like they may have gotten lucky right away," an insider said.
Back in January, the "Rolling in the Deep" songstress was spotted hiding her belly in an oversized coat while she was out to do some grocery shopping at Whole Foods.
Adele previously denied baby rumors, saying that she's not pregnant, "not until the end of the tour."
