Amber Rose and 21 Savage made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. The buxom model looked unrecognizable with her glam new hair when arriving at the Sunday, August 27 event at The Forum in Inglewood, California with her rapper boyfriend.
Amber ditched her signature buzz cut in favor of a wavy brunette wig that night. The 33-year-old former erotic dancer wore a custom, see-through black gown by Yousef Aljasmi which perfectly accentuated her enviable curves.
For her makeup, Amber went for a dark vibe to match her sparkling floor-length dress and hair. She looked fierce with thick cat-eye liner, burgundy blush and burgundy lips. She accessorized with a pair of Butani diamond link earrings and a Hearts on Fire diamond ring.
The model could not keep her hands off her rapper beau when posing for photos. Packing on the PDA, she could be seen at one point sharing a sweet kiss with 21 Savage, who is 9 years her junior. The "Thug Life" rapper looked sharp in a white suit, retro sunglasses and Harry Kotlar diamond studs.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner, Amber dished on her date with the rapper. "I'm just excited to be here with my baby. That's it," she said, before gushing, "For us, being celebrities, it's hard for us to like, really go out on a date. So it's kind of like a date night for us, so we're gonna go eat after this and we just want to enjoy the festivities and just hang out."
The model admitted that her relationship with the rapper is much more low-key than people might think. "People probably think we're really crazy, but we're really homebodies," Amber said. "We like to watch documentaries and just hang out and chill," she shared. "We don't really do anything crazy."
A day before attending the award show, Amber took to her Instagram account to share a video of her getting Botox. "I swear it looks more painful than it actually is," she wrote on the caption. "Lol thank you @drjasondiamond for fitting me in today! Ladies and gentlemen if you need some rejuvenation, Botox, fillers etc call Dr Diamond’s office and tell them Amber sent you."
