Grab a Tissue! John Cena Breaks Down in Tears After Being Surprised by Fans in Emotional Video

The professional wrestler is sobbing after being surprised by some fans whose lives have been influenced by his 'Never Give Up' mantra.
Last year, John Cena teamed up with Cricket Wireless to surprise and prank his fans. And now, it's the 40-year-old wrestler's turn to be surprised by fans whose lives have changed, thanks to his "Never Give Up" motto. Cricket Wireless has released a touching video that begins with John reading thank you notes.

The messages are from a number of people who are inspired by John, including a young man who nearly died after getting hit by a car, a man who was depressed after losing his parents and a woman who was inspired to never give up in her efforts adopting a daughter. However, the professional wrestler has no idea that everyone who wrote the letters are listening backstage.

John can barely contain his emotion as he reads the heartfelt messages. The most touching moment is when he watches a video message from a boy named Tyler, whose mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The boy shares how John has inspired him and helped him go through his darkest moment. The WWE superstar breaks down in tears as Tyler and his mother suddenly come into the room to thank him personally.

Other fans follow suit, and John welcomes them with warm hugs. They honor him with "Life Changer" trophy. With teary eyes, he tells them, "Just remember that you guys do the work. Don't think that you're the only one who's up against it, and don't think you're the only one who [has] challenges to face everyday. You all lead by example, and I mean it when I say it. Don't ever give up."

John Cena has been known as an inspirational wrestler. Back in 2009, he became Wish Ambassador for Make-A-Wish Foundation. The organization is best known for its effort to grant wishes for kids with life-threatening illness. In 2012, he became the No. 1 wish-granting celebrity in the U.S. John meets two to three kids a week, and it's such a big number as he has tight schedule as an entertainer. He has granted over 300 wishes to this day.
