The 'Where Have You Been' songstress seemingly didn't want to be captured on camera as she could be seen hiding her face under the umbrella she was holding during a date with her beau.

AceShowbiz - It seems like Rihanna didn't want to attract people's attention during her date night with Hassan Jameel. The "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" actress hid under the umbrella she was holding while leaving Chiltern Firehouse restaurant in London on Wednesday, August 16.
In some photos obtained by The Sun, Rihanna opted for a casual look as she donned a black hoodie which she paired with matching pants. She completed her look with a pair of gold heels and a white clutch, while her hair was let loose. Hassan looked equally casual in a black T-shirt which he paired with gray pants and white sneakers. He accessorized with a black cap.
The couple was immediately surrounded by reporters the moment they stepped out of the restaurant. Rihanna kept her head down while walking toward their car. Hassan looked a bit flustered, but he still managed to smile while helping the "Work" hitmaker to enter the vehicle. Although the Saudi billionaire didn't seem to mind being photographed, he still helped Rihanna hide herself. At one point, Hassan protected Rihanna with his body as they were leaving.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the "Take a Bow" singer does want to keep her relationship with the 29-year-old businessman private. "Keeping her relationship with Hasaan out of the spotlight is a priority for Rihanna right now," a source tells the website. "She hates the avalanche of attention that happens whenever she's got a new man, it always causes drama. She wants what she's got with Hasaan to last so she's being very protective."
"Most of the time they don't even leave the house together, that's how much she wants to avoid the attention and all the baggage that comes with it," the source continues. "But they can't stay hidden all the time, she's super social and wants to be out and about with him showing him off. It's a tricky line to walk."
The source explains that Rihanna desperately tries to avoid spotlight because she is afraid to experience another public heartbreak. "Rihanna had a really hard time getting over her breakups with Chris Brown and Drake and a big part of the problem was how public it was. She doesn't want another heartbreak with the world watching. This is a way to safeguard her relationship and her heart."
