AceShowbiz - ABC has released a new featurette of "Marvel's Inhumans". The video features EP/writer Scott Buck, EP Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb and the first and second episodes' director Roel Reine previewing the upcoming series and explaining who the Inhumans are.

Interestingly, it also offers new footage of Medusa (Serinda Swan), the Queen of Attilan, showcasing her power to control her hair on one of Maximus' (Iwan Rheon) men. Fans so far have only seen Medusa displaying her Inhumans superpower when she strangles Maximus, the brother of Black Bolt (Anson Mount), with her hair when he tries to proposition her.

In the new footage, she makes her prehensile hair stop one of Maximus' men and grab his armed hand. Her prehensile hair is so powerful to the point it makes the man bend his body to the right, completely overpowered.

"The Inhumans live in Attilan, which is on the dark side of the moon," says Buck in the featurette. "There is a royal family that has existed for a great deal of time," Loeb further adds. Meanwhile, Reine teases a coup d'etat by one of the "two rivaling brothers" which later brings the Inhumans all the way to Earth.

"Marvel's Inhumans" will chronicle a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, which were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe.

"Marvel's Inhumans" will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family. Also starring on the eight-episode series are Isabelle Cornish, Sonya Balmores, Mike Moh, Ellen Woglom, Ken Leung, Eme Ikwuakor and Henry Ian Cusick.

The series will premiere its first two episodes on Friday, September 29 at 8 P.M. on ABC, before later airing on Friday at 9 P.M. slot. Prior to the TV debut, the first two episodes of "Marvel's Inhumans" will screen in IMAX theaters worldwide for two weeks, starting on September 1.
