While the four members of One Direction are currently embarking on successful solo careers, fans can't help but wonder whether the group will ever reunite. Liam Payne has spoken out about the possibility, and confirmed that he and the boys will eventually make a comeback as a group and even hit the road together for a tour. Yay!

"I think we will reunite at some point in the future," the "Strip That Down" hitmaker tells Buzzfeed. "We have to--I mean we've got an album we haven't even toured yet, and I want to write some more songs as well with the boys." One Direction's latest album was "Made in the A.M.", which was released shortly before they went on hiatus.

"When we were younger, we used to spend a lot of time together on the tour bus," Liam recalls the fun experience with his bandmates while touring. "When we did our first American tour, we had a really tiny, small bus, so it was just a lot of fun , just hanging out. And it was like, I don't know, that was the time when we got to know each other best."

During the interview, the 23-year-old heartthrob also shares that he would love to collaborate with his former bandmate Zayn Malik. "I think I would collaborate best with Zayn because we do a really similar type of music," he says.

Liam is currently working on his debut studio album. While his new solo single "Strip That Down" has a quite dancey beats, we can expect other vibes to appear on the upcoming album. "There's some ballads, there's some hip-hop songs, there's some more dance music," Liam explains. "So I think there's a really varied mix of different things that we have."
