Meet 7 New Cast Members of '13 Reasons Why' Season 2

Anne Winters, Bryce Cass, Chelsea Alden, Allison Miller, Samantha Logan, Kelli O'Hara and Ben Lawson are set to join Katherine Langford and Dylan Minnette in the upcoming sophomore season.

AceShowbiz - "13 Reasons Why" season 2 continues to shape up as it has added seven new actors to its growing cast. Anne Winters, Bryce Cass, Chelsea Alden, Allison Miller, Samantha Logan, Kelli O'Hara and Ben Lawson are set to join Katherine Langford and Dylan Minnette in the upcoming sophomore season of the controversial drama.

Winters ("Tyrant", "Wicked City") is tapped to play a student named Chloe. According to Variety, the character is described as the beautiful "it girl" at Liberty High and the new head cheerleader. Besides "Tyrant" and "Wicked City", Winter's credits include "Zac & Mia", "Cruel Intentions" pilot and "Mom and Dad", in which she stars opposite Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair.

Cass will take on the role of Cyrus, an edgy, cynical mischief maker who serves as an unexpected champion of the downtrodden. "13 Reasons Why" marks the first major role for Cass. Playing Cyrus' sister, Mackenzie, is Alden. Mackenzie is an artsy and witty girl who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Alden starred on "American Horror Story: Roanoke" and "Veep". She also nabs a guest role on Netflix's "The Ranch".

Logan ("Polaroid") portrays Nina, a well respected track star with a secret. Her credits include "The Empty Man", "666 Park Avenue", "Teen Wolf", "The Fosters" and "Melissa & Joey". Logan also starred on "Cruel Intentions" pilot alongside Winters and Cass.

Besides student characters, the new roles include mature characters. O'Hara ("Masters of Sex", "The Good Fight") plays Jackie, a warm, intelligent, passionate advocate for victims of bullying. Miller ("Terra Nova", "Kings") portrays smart and ambitious young litigator Sonya. Miller is best known for her roles on Matt Damon and Ben Affleck-executive produced Syfy series "Incorporated".

Lawson plays Rick, the beloved baseball coach at Liberty High. He starred in "No Strings Attached" as well as TV series, including "Modern Family", "Covert Affairs and "2 Broke Girls".

The new season will follow the aftermath of Hannah's death as well as other characters' new complicated journeys. "13 Reasons Why" season 2 is currently filming and set to premiere sometime in 2018 on Netflix.
