After allegedly having daughter Blue Ivy launching a beauty line, Beyonce Knowles is seemingly expanding the family business by launching a new lifestyle website. The 35-year-old singer is reported to be working on her own lifestyle website to compete with pal Gwyneth Paltrow's, GOOP.
"Beyonce wants to turn motherhood, home furnishing, fashion and her unique swagger into an online brand," an insider reveals to Life & Style. The site goes on noting that, while a lot of topics may overlap with her actress pal's site, the mother of three's "vision is completely different from Gwyneth's."
The "Single Ladies" hitmaker is said to already know what her fans are looking for. The insider claims that "Bey wants her site to offer more affordable products aimed at a more hip and urban clientele," before saying, "She's very business-savvy. She wants consumers to choose her website over GOOP."
It was reported earlier this year that Bey's daughter Blue was set to launch a cosmetics line under her name at the age of 5. Bey's company allegedly wanted to launch a line of girls' products, from hair care, fragrance, clothing and mobile devices to video games. Those products are all meant for both adults and infants.
