The 'High High' rapper, who recently took a sick leave due to social anxiety, will have to serve as a public service worker or a full-time reserve soldier when he re-enlists to the military.

AceShowbiz - T.O.P of Big Bang has lost his position as a policeman in the military. After taking a sick leave from the military due to social anxiety, the "71: Into the Fire" actor is deemed unfit to continue serving in the position.

The police department will request the Army headquarters for a new position for T.O.P. He will either re-enlist as a public service worker or a full-time reserve soldier. It is still unknown when his new position will be decided.

Last month, T.O.P was charged with illegal marijuana use after the police found out that he smoked marijuana in his house with a female acquaintance prior to serving in the military. He initially denied the claims, saying he didn't know that what he smoked was marijuana. However, he later pleaded guilty to four charges of marijuana use during his first trial.

The "Tazza: the Hidden Card" star was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay a $10.6 fine. He would face a 10-month prison sentence if he violated the probation period. T.O.P later stated that he didn't plan to file an appeal against his sentence.

Although the 29-year-old rapper accepted his punishment, fans thought that the sentence was way too light. "I guess if you 'reflect', you can avoid jail time... So funny, he landed probation just for reflecting. Let me reflect the next time I commit a crime, you better give me probation too," one of them previously commented on an article on Naver. Another added, "$10.6 isn't even the cost of fried chicken, the penalty is useless."
