A neighbor-war is reportedly breaking out between Beyonce Knowles & Jay-Z and David Charvet & Brooke Burke-Charvet. While Bey and Jay proceed with closing on a $100 million mansion in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles, they're renting a sprawling $400K-a-month estate in Malibu.

A source tells In Touch that "all hell is breaking out" between the neighbors over the construction. "Beyonce and Jay keep complaining about noise. The cops were even called a few times, halting construction," the source continues.

"Bey and Jay even complained about the taco truck that pulls up for the workers' lunch!" adds the source. The Charvets are known for being easygoing, but their patience is being tested by the music power couple, the webloid claims, before quoting the source as saying, "They seem to think that they own all of Malibu."

However, David's rep told Page Six a different story on Thursday, July 27. "David and Brooke are truly some of the easiest people one could ever encounter, and David is incredibly respectful of all the residents in Malibu. The construction team that work for David are of the highest level," the rep said.

"Every project his company works on is strictly enforced and abides by all building codes," the rep added. "It is imperative for David's business that all the legal guidelines of building in Malibu are followed (which are as tough as they come)."
