First look at IM Global's noir thriller "Serenity (2018)" has been released in the form of photo. The pic reunites "Interstellar" co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, who are seen showing intense facial expressions.
Sporting a scruffy beard, McConaughey looks anxious while looking at something off the camera. Meanwhile, Hathaway, who sports an icy blonde hair, stands behind McConaughey as she looks at him with a worried expression.
"Serenity" is described as "a mysterious tale of a fishing boat captain whose past is about to crash up against his life on a small island in the tropics and ensnare him in a new reality that might not be all it seems to be." McConaughey stars as the fishing boat captain, while Hathaway's role is still kept secret.
The film is currently shooting on location in Mauritius, with Oscar nominee Steven Knight directing from a script he wrote. Also starring alongside McConaughey and Hathaway are Uma Thurman, Diane Lane, Jason Clarke, Djimon Hounsou and Jeremy Strong.
