AceShowbiz - Mindy Kaling is reportedly adding mother to her resume as she is rumored to have a bun in the oven. E! News reports she is expecting her first child. The pregnancy is "an unexpected surprise," a source says, but it won't affect schedules for her upcoming projects.
The father of the baby is still unknown. "The Mindy Project" actress dated actor B.J. Novak on and off for several years when they were working together on the TV series "The Office". The 38-year-old star was later linked to Benjamin Nugent.
Kaling who will next be seen in "A Wrinkle in Time" and "Ocean's Eight" made no secret of her desire to start a family. She once said, "I think I've decided that unlike everything else in my life, I'm going to be fast and loose about kids. I'm going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen."
