The Weeknd and Selena Gomez have been dating for less than a year, but their relationship is apparently getting serious quickly. Words are the Canadaian singer is planning to propose to his girlfriend on her 25th birthday, July 22.
"Abel has been looking at engagement rings for weeks and has his eye on a gorgeous four-carat diamond solitaire," a source tells OK! magazine. "They're always talking about a future together, so he knows that Selena will say yes, but she would never expect him to propose so soon. She's going to be shocked!"
The Weeknd has reportedly talked with Selena's mother, Mandy Teefy, about his plans to propose to her.
It must be hard for The Weeknd and Selena not spending time together since they're busy with their own careers lately. While the "Starboy" hitmaker is on tour in Europe, the former Disney darling had been preparing the release of her new song "Fetish", which just arrived on Wednesday, July 12.
