Amanda Bynes is officially back in the public eye! The 31-year-old actress was recently seen stepping out for shopping in Beverly Hills shortly after returning to the spotlight for the first time in three years.

In some photos obtained by Radar Online, Amanda was seen strolling with a woman who appeared to be her sober companion. The "Sydney White" actress donned a white shirt paired with a long, pleated skirt. She completed her look with black sunglasses and a black sling bag. Her companion, meanwhile, sported an all-black outfit.

Amanda recently gave her first interview in four years during Diana Madison's show "The Lowdown". At the time, the "Hairspray" actress addressed her antics in the past and talked about life as well as her plan for future now that she's sober.

She also talked about going back to school and planning to return to TV. "I've been going to school lately, fashion school [at] FIDM," she said. "I love it. I've learned how to sew. I make patterns. I want to start a clothing line in the future so FIDM has been helping me with that. I hike, I go spinning, I feed the homeless and that's been really interesting and fun."

She continued, "I do miss acting and I have something surprising to tell you, I'm going to start acting again. I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of and maybe another TV show where I'm the star of it."
