A day after releasing the infectious track "Yellow Light", Pharrell Williams has now released a music video for the song. The fun song is accompanied by equally playful visuals, as it finds Pharrell strolling around the city with a group of Minions from animated movie "Despicable Me".

Sporting a yellow cap, orange hoodie and pink shoes, the 44-year-old singer is followed around by some of the yellow animated characters. The Minions later go their own way after seeing a cart of bananas, while Pharrell transforms into a video games character to beat the villain in a dance battle.

"Everyone's overdosing the blue light use/ United States of anxiety continues/ The redness in this town, we're singing the flag burning blues/ And we feel like the nuts cause we feel the screws/ We don't care 'bout no fit/ We don't care 'bout no trouble/ We just wanna get in/ Let's make out like we're lovers," Pharrell sings.

"Yellow Light" serves as a soundtrack of upcoming animated movie "Despicable Me 3", which is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 30. This is not the first time Pharrell works alongside the Minions, though. His monster hit single, "Happy", was featured on "Despicable Me 2". The track was named the best-selling song in the U.S. in 2014 and the No. 1 song in the U.K., Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and other 19 countries. It also marked the singer's first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
