T.O.P of Big Bang was found unconscious on Tuesday, June 6 and was immediately rushed to the hospital. His doctors later revealed that he's currently still unconscious after overdosing on anti-anxiety medication called benzodiazepines and that he needs psychological treatment.

One of the doctors said that T.O.P had high blood pressure and heart rate when he was admitted to Ewha University Hospital. "His blood pressure and heartbeat were both extremely high," the doctor stated during a press conference held on Wednesday, June 7. "After testing, doctors found that his bloodstream was low on oxygen but high in carbon dioxide. It could have resulted in brain damage within minutes."

The doctors explained that they still don't know how many pills T.O.P took as he hasn't gained consciousness yet. "We cannot say exactly how many pills T.O.P consumed, but we know it was a lot," the doctor continued. "He is in a very bad state of consciousness and his blood condition is bad as well." T.O.P is also prescribed to other anti-depressants, but none of them was identifiable through urine tests.

It is said that the 29-year-old rapper will need more time to recover. "Although we cannot guarantee how long it will take for T.O.P to recover, on average, a healthy person who does not have any other illnesses takes around a week or two to recover," the doctor informed.

The doctors also shared that they would discuss T.O.P's mental health with psychologists after his condition improves. "We plan to treat him psychologically following standard procedure but it's impossible to be done right now since he's in an unresponsive state," the doctor concluded.

T.O.P, who was serving in the military, was charged with marijuana use last week. He was later dismissed from the military. The "Zutter" hitmaker was admitted to the hospital a day after he got blasted by haters for smiling while leaving military.
