Chris Evans is among Marvel Cinematic Universe stars who congratulate 'Wonder Woman' on its spectacular opening at box office.

"Wonder Woman" opened at box office with rave reviews, including those from celebrities such as Lupita Nyong'o, Jessica Chastain and Kerry Washington. Now Captain America depicter Chris Evans also cheered when knowing that the DC movie did very well in its first weekend, as it nabbed a spectacular $103.2 million at North American box office.
Evans took to his Twitter account to send his congratulations, replying a tweet from The Associated Press about the fantastic debut of the movie starring Gal Gadot. "Wow!!!! HUGE congrats," the actor tweeted.

Other Marvel Cinematic Universe members also expressed their delights on the movie. Hulk depicter Mark Ruffalo cheered on the movie, while "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" director James Gunn sent "many congrats" to "Wonder Woman" helmer Patty Jenkins.

With the movie going well both domestically and internationally, a talk about sequel has been brought up. It was recently reported that director Patty Jenkins and Gadot were "contractually commited to a second film." But there is a question whether Chris Pine, who portrays Steve Trevor in "Wonder Woman", will return in the possible sequel.
Regarding the matter, Jenkins said, "All I can say is it was a dilemma. It's something I hope we don't talk about in the public [because] I want people to see, but it's very hard to know which characters will be in the next movie because of the time period, so it's a big question." Pine, however, would be open for more "Wonder Woman" films, including spin-offs. "The movie's gotta come out, and then we'll see. What about 'Wonder Man'?" teased Pine.
Before she was Wonder Woman she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, discovering her full powers and true destiny.
"Wonder Woman" is currently screening at U.S. theaters.
