Many big names like 'Harry Potter' author J.K. Rowling, George Takei and Mayim Bialik slam the POTUS for criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan on Twitter only hours after the terror attacks.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump criticized London Mayor Sadiq Khan only hours after the London Bridge terror attacks on late Saturday, June 3 and early Sunday. In a string of tweets, the POTUS used the tragedy that killed 7 people and injured dozens to address his travel ban, which the courts have ruled is unconstitutional.

"We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!" he wrote in the immediate aftermath of the attacks, before expressing support for the U.K. as saying, "Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there - WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!"

But hours later on Sunday morning, the 70-year-old business mogul went on politicizing the situation, writing, "We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people." He continued, "If we don't get smart it will only get worse."

He added in another post, "At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is 'no reason to be alarmed!' " He went on to say, "Do you notice we are not having a gun debate right now? That's because they used knives and a truck!"

Many people were pissed at Trump for using the London attacks as an opportunity to push his agenda. Questioning the president's response, big names like "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling and actors George Takei and Mayim Bialik slammed him on the micro-blogging site.

"It's called 'leadership,' Donald," Rowling wrote. "The terrorists were dead 8 minutes after police got the call. If we need an alarmist blowhard, we'll call."

"Just imagine if they had easy, unfettered access to powerful semi-automatic weapons," Takei hit back at Trump. "He said there was no reason to be alarmed by the increased police presence over the next few days, you hare-brained miscreant. Sit down."

"You know nothing. How dare you act like you do. I can't even. I need a drink," Bialik tweeted. Responding to the president's gun debate remark, the actress wrote, "You are not equipped to be the President. I'm so sorry you are our President it makes me cry."
