Star was the first to report that Gwen is currently pregnant. "I heard she was beside herself when she found out at a recent doctor's appointment," a source told the tabloid. The source further claimed that the 47-year-old singer later broke the news to Blake during a "quiet evening together at home" that left them "teary eyed." Gwen's pregnancy felt like a miracle to them considering her age.
It was said that the two "knew that conceiving was going to be a challenge" and considered IVF, but the pregnancy happened in a natural way. "If there's one thing you can say about Blake, it's that he's certainly not 'lazy,' " the source added.
Following the "miracle pregnancy," they were said to be planning to get married before "The Sweet Escape" songstress gives birth. The source said that Gwen and Blake "quickly pulled together a secret plan to tie the knot in June"
Speculations that Gwen is expecting sparked after the "Austin" hitmaker took her out to dinner and showered her with sweet gifts on Mother's Day. "Blake spoiled Gwen during a sweet romantic Mother's Day weekend," an insider revealed, before adding, "He showered her with flowers, chocolate and affection." Blake also reportedly teamed up with Gwen's children to surprise her with a breakfast in bed. "They made her pancakes and pampered her the entire weekend," the insider shared.
However, it was believed that the surprise was to celebrate Gwen's pregnancy instead of Mother's Day holiday. An eyewitness claimed that "The Voice" coach was "beaming, looking very much like a proud papa" during their Mother's Day outing.
