The 'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword' star is reportedly eyeing the remote yet beautiful Bird Cay in the South Berry Islands, Nassau that costs around 7 million pounds.

AceShowbiz - David Beckham definitely knows how to make his wife, Victoria Adams, happy. The 42-year-old retired soccer player is reportedly planning on buying his wife a 250-acre island in the Caribbean for their 20th anniversary.

Daily Star reported on Sunday, May 14 that David was set to splash 7 million pound sterling on the remote yet beautiful Bird Cay in the South Berry Islands, Nassau. The stunning area features 4.75 miles of beaches as well as a mansion complete with guest house and five cottages. David had also been considering purchasing Sandy Cay in The Abacos in the Bahamas and the Toad Hall Estate in the British Virgin Islands.

A source told the news outlet that David looked for a private island as Victoria "craved normality" for her family and wanted to enjoy a vacation without being hounded by paparazzi. "The Beckhams, particularly Posh, crave normality for their family times. Photos of Victoria in her bikini are incredibly rare because she is now very conscious about her body," the insider shared.

"So David wanted to give her that gift of privacy to mark two decades since they first started dating, a place where she can be totally relaxed," the source continued, before adding, "They love being on Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island, so for David this was the logical next step. The Caribbean Islands are incredible, so they really are spoilt for choice, but Bird Cay is looking like the one."

While David has yet to make a final decision, a source close to the star told Daily Mail that the report was "completely false."
