Brad Pitt once turned down a date with Kate Hudson, a new report claims. National Enquirer is the first to say that the 38-year-old actress asked the 53-year-old actor to "hang out" with her following his split from Angelina Jolie, but he told her he wasn't interested.
A so-called source reveals to the magazine that Kate had been "texting him a lot" and "suggesting they get together and have coffee at her house or just hang out." The alleged insider further purports that Brad kept declining the "Deepwater Horizon" actress's offers.
When Kate wouldn't stop contacting him, the "Allied" actor allegedly finally called her, only to tell her that he "doesn't want to date anyone right now and he's worried that a public romance will affect his custody arrangement with his six kids." The actress "was fuming" and baffled by his response at the time, alleges the insider.
Reps for Kate and Brad have yet to give any comments regarding the story. But it's not the first time the father of six has been reported to be having contact with the Oscar-nominated actress. Shortly after the "Fury" actor's split from Angie last year, rumors emerged saying that he was hooking up with the "Kung Fu Panda 3" voice actress.
