In anticipation of the release of their upcoming album on June 30, TLC gave fans another taste of the forthcoming project by releasing a new single titled "Haters". The track has cute, retro-bop music and typical '90s beat. Rozonda Thomas and Tionne Watkins channel their feisty side as they clap back at haters on the song with the cute and inspirational lyrics.

"So don't you listen to a word they say/ They gonna keep on talkin' anyway/ Only thing that matters/ That you need to know/ You'll only find it in your heart and soul/ Whoa, whoa, whoa, haters gonna hate/ But we don't care about that anyway/ Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't you ever change/ People gonna say what they say/ But we don't care about that anyway," the duo sings.

"Haters" is the follow-up to single "Way Back" which was released last month. Both tracks will be featured on the group's final, fan-funded album. T-Boz and Chilli previously promised that their music "will stay true to the TLC sound, always confronting the real issues and life experiences that we all must face every single day, everywhere." They added, "We write music that people relate to... timeless music. No matter the trends, we feel like our music is always relevant."

The album release has been delayed several times before. TLC's manager, Bill Diggins, recently opened up about the reason. "It took a lot more time to coordinate schedules with writers. I could go on in more detail to explain how TLC's touring, schedule, writing schedule and producing schedule was delayed but the simple fact is that T-Boz and Chilli were inspired to make a record that they could be proud of and they would not settle less and sometimes you just cannot rush art," he explained.
