The famous couple's marriage is reportedly 'improving' as the two have been able to 'process things' and 'move past' their issues while they're ready to face their future together.

AceShowbiz - After having a roller coaster year, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly still working hard to mend their marriage. PEOPLE is the first to report that the spouses continue to fix their issues.

A source tells the publication that Kanye is doing well despite going through "a really rough time" with his wife. "It was really touch and go. She was dealing with the robbery and all that came after, and she felt like he wasn't there for her," the insider close to the rapper says. "He was going through his issues around the holidays, and he felt like she wasn't prioritizing him."

The source continues that the issues have taken their toll on their marriage. "Things were just awful between the two of them, but also with both of them separately," the insider notes, before adding, "It was like for the first time, they just weren't happy. I don't think they were happy separately, and I know they weren't happy together."

Despite being stormed by never-ending issues, the couple is fighting for their marriage and kids. "They never fell out of love with each other, but it was just one of those times where marriage is hard work, and you have to push through the pain," the source shares. "They clawed their way back to somewhere a lot more healthy, and they're still clawing their way back. There are good days and there are bad days."

Though the two may have had a rough year, the famous spouses have managed to keep things as normal as possible for their children, North and Saint. "The kids are so young that they didn't really feel like anything was too different," a source tells the publication. Kim and Kanye have been able to "process things and move past them, and are very ready for what's next and not be so focused on the mess that was last year."
