The 'Mama June: From Not to Hot' star slips into a red swimsuit for a Baywatch-themed photo shoot to showcase her slimmed-down body after losing 300lbs.

AceShowbiz - June Shannon a.k.a. Mama June recently did a Baywatch-themed photo shoot in order to celebrate her weight loss. The reality TV star wanted to show off her new size 4 body after previously being a size 18 in the beginning of "Mama June: From Not to Hot".
In a photo obtained by E! News, the 37-year-old mother smiled confidently at the camera while flaunting her figure in a red swimsuit and carrying a lifeguard float. She did a photo shoot with the same theme back in 2015 and wanted to do a before-and-after comparison to show how much she's changed.
Mama June debuted her new body last April and said that her weight loss gave her a chance to show her true self. "It makes me feel really good to show other people this is what I've always thought of myself and that my inside hadn't changed, like my giving and outgoing and loving personality that was there when I was there," she said, before adding, "It's just a little bit more out there."
To lose her weight, Mama June underwent a series of surgeries, starting from a gastric bypass surgery to the removal of the excess skin from her arms and neck, besides modifying her diet and excercising. She started the weight loss project in order to make her former husband, Mike Thompson a.k.a. Sugar Bear, regret leaving her. However, she later revealed that she wanted to do it for herself, not anyone else. "My goal when I first started this weight loss journey was to make Sugar Bear kind of jealous. But it's no longer about revenge," she shared.
