AceShowbiz - Naomi Campbell has opened up about her desire to have children. The 46-year-old supermodel admits she wants to be a mother in an interview with ES Magazine, in which she also talks about her experience as an addict and her journey to sobriety.

"I think about having children all the time," Naomi reveals. While the British-born model has previously said she's considering adoption, she's now thinking about having her own biological children. "Now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want," she explains.

Naomi insists she has to find the right man first, though, as she doesn't want to be a single parent. "I do want a father figure," she tells the magazine, adding, "I think it's important." Asked if it's because she doesn't have her own father figure, she responds, "It's the way I feel today, sitting here talking to you."

Naomi, who entered rehab in 1999 due to drug and alcohol addiction and attended Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, opens up about her road to recovery with NA. "People tried to shame me about the fact that I went to get help. You should never feel shame because recovery is a positive thing," she says.

"But when I first went, people were not open about this stuff. Everything like this should be talked about openly," she continues. She now tries to help others who have similar problems as she says, "Mental health issues, postpartum depression - there are so many different things. Come together and help each other, that's important."
