The infamous nemesis of Superman is reportedly coming from Krypton to National City for the current second season.

AceShowbiz - General Zod is reportedly coming to National City. According to a scoop from Bleeding Cool, Mark Gibbon joins "Supergirl" as Superman's nemesis from Krypton for the current season 2. The Canadian actor has reportedly been spotted on the set filming his scenes.
The scoop comes after Superman was announced to return to the TV show for the season 2 finale. Played by Tyler Hoechlin, the Man of Steel first visited his cousin, Melissa Benoist's Kara Danvers, in the premiere of the second season back in October 2016.
Mark Gibbon himself is no stranger to superhero movie and TV show. He appeared in "Smallville", "Man of Steel" and "Arrow". He also voiced Hulk in "Iron Man: Armored Adventures" and "Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes", Gauntlet in "X-Men: Evolution", and Nick Fury in "Spider-Man Unlimited".
