Director Christopher McQuarrie has just taken to his Instagram account to share a picture of himself, Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill on "Mission: Impossible 6" filming location in Paris. The actors and director smile brightly in the picture, with the Eiffel Tower shining in the background.
With Cavill sporting an unshaven look in the picture, fans assume that he will have much different appearance than his usual self in the upcoming movie. It is unknown whether the photo is taken before or after the filming of that day, but Cruise and Cavill's attire as well the Paris setting seemingly suggest that their characters are on board to do some awesome things.
Prior to this, McQuarrie shared a photo of Rebecca Ferguson (II) as Ilsa Faust. Since plot detail is still kept under wraps, it's still unknown how Ilsa will be involved in the movie.
Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris are also returning for the movie. Vanessa Kirby has been added to the cast, while it has been confirmed that Jeremy Renner won't make a return.
McQuarrie has said that "Mission: Impossible 6" will feature "very different" Ethan Hunt and will explore his character way more deeply than the previous movies did. Besides serving as director, McQuarrie writes the script and produces the movie alongside Cruise, Don Granger, J.J. Abrams, David Ellison and Dana Goldberg.
"Mission: Impossible 6" is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 27, 2018.
