The CW has announced that Rick Gonzalez (Rene Ramirez a.k.a. Wild Dog) and Juliana Harkavy (the new Black Canary) have been promoted to series regulars in the upcoming season 6.

Team Arrow will be sticking around at least until the upcoming season 6. The CW has announced that Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy have been upped to series regular for season 6.
Rick ("Mr. Robot") joined "Arrow" in the current season 5 premiere, playing Rene Ramirez a.k.a. mask-wearing vigilante Wild Dog. Meanwhile, Juliana ("The Walking Dead") recently joined the season in the 10th episode of season 5. Her character was initially named Tina Boland, before it was revealed that she was Dinah Drake a.k.a. the original Black Canary of the comics. Dinah has slowly taking over her role of the Black Canary, following the death of Laurel (Katie Cassidy) in season 4.
Rick and Juliana joins Katie, who previously was announced to return as a series regular for season 6. However, she will not portray Black Canary, but Black Canary's Earth-2 doppelganger Black Siren instead. It is certainly interesting to see Black Canary having a possible face-to-face encounter with Black Siren in the upcoming 6.
"Arrow" season 5 is currently in a short hiatus and will return with all new episodes on Wednesday, April 26 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
