The 'Labor Pains' star fuels speculation that she has converted to Islam after she hit the beach in Thailand in Burkini, but many doubt that her commitment is genuine.

Lindsay Lohan has just added fuel to speculation that she has converted to Islam. After confirming that she had been studying the Qur'an, the 30-year-old actress/singer sported Burkini while hitting the beach in Phuket, Thailand last week.
The "Herbie: Fully Loaded" star wore a black headscarf, black pants and black-and-red tunic that hit her at mid-thigh. The outfit covered her head-to-toe as she stood on a large board and posed in the water as seen in some pictures obtained by Daily Mail.
Burkini is a sportswear line invented in 2004 by designer Aheda Zanetti to allow Muslim women to uphold Islamic modesty traditions.
However, many question if Lindsay's commitment is genuine. "What's the difference between @lindsaylohan @KendallJenner @pepsi ....nothing," a Twitter user commented. "Pepsi ad and Lindsay Lohan burkini there will never be a better internet day than today," another added.

Lindsay said earlier this year about her interest in Islam, "Me studying the Quran is something I found a solace in." When asked if she considered converting to Islam, she answered, "Nothing is confirmed yet."
Following her recent outing in Thailand, sources confirm that the actress has converted to Islam. "Lindsay has converted and is now living as a muslim," the sources tell Naughty Gossip. "She has found peace in the religion and the harmony that has been missing from her life. She wears a Burkini and covers her head with a black hood which also concealed her ears. She is finally happy."
