"Avengers: Infinity War" may feature Corvus Glaive, the merciless servant of the Mad Titan Thanos, who is the main antagonist in the sequel to "Avengers: Age of Ultron". New set photos show a stuntman wielding a mysterious staff.

In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, the stunt performer dons a motion caption suit, a technique used to record movement to be later used to animate digital character models in 2D or 3D computer animation, while teetering on the edge of a stone balcony at the Royal Mile in Edinburugh.

The stuntman carries a staff which is similar to the one used by Corvus. Another stunt actor is seen holding a similar weapon, resembling that of Supergiant who is another member of the Black Order.

While Josh Brolin will play Thanos, "Kong: Skull Island" actor Terry Notary could be playing Corvus. During a recent interview, Terry revealed, "I'm working on four characters right now. I'm working with Josh Brolin and three other actors and I'm playing Josh Brolin's right hand bad guy [in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War]."

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, "Avengers: Infinity War" is slated for a May 4, 2018 release in the U.S.
