Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly getting serious with her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky after six months of dating. "The Hunger Games" star has apparently been mesmerized by the "Black Swan" filmmaker, despite their 22-year age difference.

"Jennifer is comfortable with an older guy because she is mature and focused," a source reveals to PEOPLE. "Jen has been mesmerized by his talent and brains since she started working with him," the source shares. "They are very sweet together and seem happy," another source adds. "They hold hands. They keep to themselves and don't seem to want a lot of attention."

The first insider goes on explaining, "Jen is a serious actress and being around another person in the business who is intense about what he does has been good for her." The insider continues, "I don't know how far it will go but as of now they are a really good match, two talented people who love their work and are respected for it."

The couple, who met while filming "Mother!", first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together on a date in New York back in August. Even distance was not a problem for the two lovebirds. The "Jackie" producer recently visited Jennifer who has been busy filming "Red Sparrow" in Budapest. The "Passengers" actress also spent some time with her 48-year-old boyfriend and his 10-year-old son in New York City.
