The 'Born to Die' hitmaker releases a bewitching black-and-white trailer to tease fans about her upcoming album called 'Lust for Life'.

AceShowbiz - Lana Del Rey definitely knows how to keep her fans intrigued. The 31-year-old singer has announced that her fifth album, "Lust For Life", will arrive soon by releasing a haunting trailer on social media. In the black-and-white clip, Lana lives inside the letter "H" in the "Hollywood" sign. The ghostly Lana is surrounded by levitating home decor and everything looks like hologram.

The video also shows an image of the Statue of Liberty with its torch snuffed out, which is seemingly to illustrate the Indie Pop singer's political stance. Accompanied by Lana's intriguing monologue, the two-minute clip becomes more bewitching. The clip also briefly shows a sign of XO which is The Weeknd's record label, and it leaves fans wondering if it is a hint of her collaboration with The Weeknd in "Lust for Life".

It looks like the songstress truly dedicates the upcoming album for her fans. She said in the monologue that she is making "this record for you." Just as she previously said in an interview, "I made my first 4 albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed."

At the end of the clip, Lana said, "Amidst all the uncertainty, and as we transition out of one era into another one, there's no place I'd rather be than smack-dab in the middle of 'Holly-weird' making this record for you. Because you, and the music, and this place, are my love, my life, my lust for life."

Prior to this, Lana has released a lead single off the forthcoming album called "Love". The dreamy dark pop tune of "Love" hints at the mood of Lana's upcoming records. She has been writing for the album for the last 15 months and she "started out thinking that the whole record was going to have sort of a '50s, '60s feeling, with some kind of Shangri-Las, early Joan Baez influences."

She claimed that her lyrics would be "more socially aware." She said, "As the climate kept on getting more heated politically, I found, like, lyrically everything was just directed towards that, so because of that, the sound just got really updated, and I felt like it was more wanting to, like, talk to the younger side of the audience I have. I guess it's just a little more socially aware."

An official release date of "Lust for Life" has not yet been announced.
