AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber is facing arrest in Brazil after prosecutors reopened his 2013 graffiti case. The "Let Me Love You" hitmaker was caught spray painting graffiti on a hotel's wall in Brazil back in 2013, which is illegal in the country.

Justin is due to perform in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday night, March 29 and prosecutors will officially notify him of the charges when he arrives in the country. The case was previously suspended after the "Cold Water" crooner left the country to continue his tour.

The Public Prosecution Service in Rio says in a statement, "With the news that the singer will be returning to Brazil, the Prosecution Service requested that the court issue a writ of summons in his name. The request is so that the accused is made aware of the charges."

According to Daily Mail, Rio de Janeiro judge Rudi Lowenkron has ordered a court clerk to be waiting for Justin when he arrives at the city's international airport. He will be asked to sign a document confirming he is aware of the case. However, if he refuses, the judge has authorized the "use of police force" to ensure the singer signs the document "during" his show at the Apoteose Square venue.

As well as hearing the charges, translated into English, Justin will also be informed that he should hire a defense lawyer. He is likely to be questioned by police with a judge expected to pass sentence before he is due to leave the country again after his final show in Sao Paulo on Sunday, April 2.

Defacing any building is a crime in Brazil and punishable by up to one year in jail or a fine.
