Is Angelina Jolie rekindling romance with her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton? Rumor has it, the "Maleficent" actress has been very privately in contact with the 61-year-old actor behind Brad Pitt's back.

"Angie and Billy Bob never actually stopped talking. They have been in contact in some form or another with each other ever since they split," a source tells Radar Online, "Recently they have been talking more but her focus at the moment is her charity work and her kids."

Billy has always been open about his affection for Angie. In an 2016 interview with GQ magazine, the "Bad Santa 2" actor recalled his past relationship with the "By the Sea" actress, revealing two tattoos he still has dedicated to his former wife, one on his right his leg and the other which is now covered by an angel on his arm. "See, it's just resting there," he said of his ink, "You can still see the name."

"I never felt good enough for her," he added, referring to Angie's endeavors as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, "I'm real uncomfortable around rich and important people."
