Eva Mendes has been staying out of the spotlight in the last six months, during when boyfriend Ryan Gosling attended lots of award events for his movie "La La Land". The 43-year-old actress finally made her first public appearance to celebrate a store opening in Miami, Florida on Thursday night, March 16.
Eva glammed up in one of her own creations, an aqua blue one-shoulder maxi dress, while attending the grand opening of the New York & Company store. She finished up her look with a colorful belt and a pair of candy stripe heels at the event that took place at the Dadeland Mall, where she also debuted her new collection for the company.
The last time the "Ghost Rider" actress stepped out for an official event was at the fashion show for her last New York & Company collection back in September. She appeared to embrace her post-baby body after giving birth to her second child with Ryan less than a year ago.
Eva previously told Shape Magazine, "In some ways, it's been more challenging to get back in shape after my second daughter." She went on saying, "Yet it's not as hard as I thought it would be, because I'm always running around with the kids. I never sit down-I'm on the move all day."
She also revealed the reason why she didn't accompany her boyfriend on red carpet. "What people don't know about me is that I love being home," she told the mag. "Instead of hitting the red carpet, I'd rather be with our girls," she added, referring to her daughters Esmeralda, 2 years old, and Amada, 11 months old.
