Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly rekindling their romance. Rumor has it, the exes have reconnected by phone and text more than a decade after their highly-publicized breakup in 2003. They are allegedly planning to secretly meet up in person.
A longtime friend of Ben reveals, "J.Lo asked if Ben wanted to come see her perform at her Las Vegas residency, and he said that he'd love to. Ben says there's definitely a spark, and she's as sharp and fun as he remembers. He's excited about the prospect of a chapter two with J.Lo!"
"[Ben and J.Lo] have always felt that their relationship remained unfinished because it ended so abruptly and the media scrutiny was so intense," the insider tells Life & Style of the exes, who got engaged in 2002 and planned to marry in 2003 before their split. "[His] friends think reconnecting with Jennifer is a great thing for him and could really lead to something wonderful."
According to the site, Ben's estranged wife Jennifer Garner has found her new love, although his identity remains a mystery. "Ben moved two doors down and has to call in advance if he wants to come over," another source revealed, "Now that Jen is getting serious with her new man, she is ready to file for divorce and feels it's important to put boundaries in place."
