The 'Always Is Never Enough' hitmaker says, 'We weren't ready at all, though, to be together,' before adding, 'We both needed to experience some things, but the love has been there the whole time.'

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has such a love for Mac Miller long before they began dating. The 23-year-old pop star opens up about her romance with the 25-year-old rapper as she recalls meeting him four years before she ever thought of dating him.
"I met him when I was 19," says the "Side to Side" singer in the April issue of Cosmopolitan. "We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other's talent."
The "Into You" hitmaker, however, says that they weren't ready to begin the relationship at that time. "We weren't ready at all, though, to be together. It's just timing," says Ariana. "We both needed to experience some things, but the love has been there the whole time."
Ariana then explains how important it is to feel complete about herself first, in order to love someone in a better way. "I've never looked at love as something that I need to complete me," she shares. "I would like to be complete on my own first and fall in love with somebody who is also complete. You can still celebrate and be totally blessed with each other, but I want to feel a hundred percent myself so that I can love that person better."
Aside from her love life, the "Dangerous Woman" hitmaker also opens up about how to be a strong and independent woman, as well as how she doesn't like being labeled. "A lot of times, women are labeled as a b***h or a diva for having a vision and being strong and using their voice, and it's just not the case," she explains. "You can be strong and be friendly. [We] don't have to be just one thing," she adds.
The "Almost Is Never Enough" singer then reveals that she's truly inspired by another diva, Madonna. "I have the utmost respect for that woman," says Ariana of the "Unapologetic B***h" hitmaker. "I love her with every ounce of my being, and not just because I'm obsessed with her entire discography. I'm so inspired by her bravery and her strength. I can look at her and not be scared to be strong."
